Good news from the homefront
Welcome to 2023, Warfighters!
We mentioned in our last update that 2023 would bring good things, and indeed we have info on the cargo vessel which is bringing Warfighter MTO to Europe and Rest-of-the-World:
To Europe and Rest-of-the-World (Surfin Meeple)
Vessel name: ONE MILLAU. estimated port arrival: early February 2023.

This vessel arrived at Long Beach, USA on 27 Dec 2022 (and has since departed for Busan, S Korea.)

This vessel is currently in transit through the Suez Canal, and scheduled to arrive in the UK about a week from now.

This vessel arrived in Melbourne, Australia on 29 Dec 2022, then to Sydney on 1 Jan 2023 (where Aetherworks is located), and is currently en route to Brisbane.

Heroic Stand Series with a week to go!
A shoutout to the current Kickstarter campaign for Amos Burke's Heroic Stand Series, which has about a week remaining. There are three titles in this series (Rorke's Drift; The Alamo; Thermopylae) depicting famous historical last stands. Each title shares a basic ruleset, with easy-to-learn rules and fast-paced mechanics, with each game playable in under 30 minutes. If you could spare a moment to take a look, we'd appreciate your support for these games.

The games are on their way!
We bring great tidings! It has been nothing short of a miracle that the factory was able to produce the games in record time, after we signed off on the final prototypes a month ago.
Two core boxes and twenty expansions add up to a total of 1,680 cards and 516 counters in an ALL-IN pledge. A print run of 1,000 units means that 1,680,000 cards and 516,000 counters have been created just for Warfighter MTO alone.
The pallets have been collected and loaded onto sea freight last week, and are currently en route to the respective warehouses (US, UK, France and Australia) aboard four vessels.
We have some details about the cargo vessels which are transporting the games, so you can follow their journey. The good news is we managed to get tracking info on most of them, but unfortunately, we have info for all of them except one.
To the US (DVG)

Unfortunately, the freight company was not able to provide the tracking info, even though we have been chasing them daily this week. To say that we are quite annoyed would be an understatement.
We are still following up, and we'll send another update as soon as we hear anything - which unfortunately will be after the Christmas weekend. It has been quite maddening, and we know that our European and Rest-of-the-World (ROW) backers will not be too thrilled by this news.
Final delivery
We are now getting close to delivering the games to our backers and pre-orders, and the warehouses will sort, pack and ship the items as soon as they get them.
As shipping times can be quite variable and unpredictable, especially during this holiday season, backers in various regions and countries will receive their items at different times, possibly weeks apart.
This means that some of you will receive your items later than others. We ask you to please be patient if you see others receiving the game before yours arrives. The respective warehouses have your information and email, and their systems will generate a notification once your items are on their way.
AND FINALLY...
We are quite excited and really looking forward to getting your hands on these games really soon. Thank you for your patience, faith and support.

Credit cards charged! Don't ignore the power of a bayonet!

Your balances on Backerkit have been charged to the credit cards we have on file. While there's almost no shot of getting these in your hands by Christmas, January is looking very good! Check your e-mails as some cards were declined for one reason or another.
In other news, I played a quick mission of North Africa last night. Things were going well and my intrepid two-man squad handily dispatched two Newbelwerfer batteries in the objective location. But my jaw dropped when I hit the actual mission target. A spunky little Forward Observer who required a HtH roll of 10 with a Cover of 3. I didn't equip my squad with any HtH weapons because who plans properly? Not this guy! 2 upguns and 2 attacks later. I manage to squeak out the roll I need and Uppercut that sucker into oblivion.
Moral to the story. Read stuff. Like Objective cards...
